No doubt that there is no one who has not faced this procedure. Dental restoration is the most common method of treating caries.

The materials from which it can be made may vary from amalgam – the most accessible but most unsteady material to a chemical polymer, photopolymer and ceramic inlay. be gold, amalgam, dental composites, glass ionomer cement, or porcelain, among others.

A lot of dentists prefer photopolymer materials because they are not only aesthetical but also resistant and easy to use on frontal teeth. The physicians in dental clinic Estetica work with modern photopolymers with applying the material at layers which allow using a combination of shades. As a result, a natural tooth colour is achieved.

Bonding

Aesthetics requirements are particularly high in affected frontal teeth, so we use recovery techniques and procedures tailored to the patient’s individual needs. When a tooth decay treatment occured, in order to make the filling invisible, dental bonding is needed.

The bonding is a dental procedure in which a dentist applies a tooth-colored resin material (a durable plastic material) and cures it with visible, blue light. This ultimately “bonds” the material to the tooth and improves the overall appearance of teeth. In order to achieve best results, the used photopolymer should be produced by international certified high-quality dental manufacturers and contain different pigments that correspond to the colour of the tooth and have a different degree of transparency.

To achieve maximum aesthetic results in terms of colour and transparency, several layers of different shades of photocopies and special effects are commonly used in our work. Our team of dentists has also successfully applied it to cover wreckage defects and closing the spaces between the teeth, reassuring the confidence and self-confidence of our patients to smile again.

Adhesive bridges

Traditional methods of replacing missing teeth are bridging the two adjacent teeth or implant placement. We offer a minimally-invasive alternative that is much brighter and excludes both the loss of hard tooth tissues in the teeth and the surgical intervention when implanting. This technology keeps the maximum amount of tooth tissue and provides the strength of the structure itself, allowing it to last long.

Another major advantage of adhesive bridges is that, unlike conventional methods, they do not require multiple visits, which would increase the final cost. With just one visit to your dentist within a few hours, you will enjoy a restored tooth, and the price is significantly lower in comparison with other recovery methods.

Teeth whitening

Teeth whitening (also bleaching) is a simple, non-invasive cosmetic procedure in which free radicals of the oxygen make oxidation to change the colour of natural tooth enamel. There are two main types of teeth whitening – depending on where the procedure is done – in the clinic (office treatment) or at home (home whitening). The difference is in the used concentration of the whitening solution and the time needed for the perfect results.

The clinical teeth whitening the used concentration is higher and needs two checkups to achieve best results. For home whitening impressions (molds) will be made of your teeth to fabricate custom, clear, plastic, trays. The trays are worn with special whitening solution either twice a day for 30 minutes or overnight for a couple of weeks depending on the degree of staining and desired level of whitening. It is normal to experience tooth sensitivity during the time you are whitening your teeth, but it will subside shortly after you have stopped bleaching.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the procedure performed?

Brow lift is a mini invasive surgical procedure which is done under local or general anesthesia. A thin incision is made in the hairy upper part of the forehead. The skin and muscles are lifted, which smoothens out the forehead and raises the eyebrows. Excess skin is removed. The operation lasts about 1 to 2 hours. The scar is not visible as it remains behind the hairline.

We also offer non-surgical methods for eyebrow lifting with the innovative ACCUTITE technology.

Before the procedure

Your surgeon will give you detailed information for the preoperative preparation a few weeks prior to your plastic surgery.

The most important advice for smokers is to stop smoking for at least 2 weeks (or 4 weeks and even more, if possible). Smoking prevents healing and increases the risk of complications. You should not smoke until the wounds heal well, at least two weeks after surgery.

You should stop taking aspirin or medicine containing aspirin, antiflammatory drugs and herbal supplements as they all increase the risk of bleeding. Your surgeon will advise you how long prior to the operation you should stop taking these medicines.

High blood pressure also needs to be well controlled during surgery. So if your blood pressure is elevated, you should discuss it with your surgeon.
It is extremely important to discuss your expectations with your plastic surgeon. This will allow him to assess whether they are achievable with the selected procedure. In some cases, two or three sessions may be needed to achieve the desired effect, and in others – it may be necessary to combine procedures for a better result.

You will be accompanied by an employee of ours to the clinic and where you are staying before and after the operation.

Aftercare and recovery

After the procedure, a surgical dressing is put and it should be changed the next day. You can wash your head after 48 hours. An elastic compression bandage could be  also put after the surgery. It should remain 1 week to prevent hematomas. Swelling and bruising are possible side effects which go away in 7 to 10 days. You may also feel tingling along the incision line, which is a transient condition.  Returning to your workplace will be possible after 3-14 days depending on the chosen surgery technique. Sports activity should be avoided for at least 1 month.

How long does the result last?

The result of the procedure is looking 5-10 years younger. This depends to a great degree on your age at the time of surgery, the condition of your skin and health. The aging process will continue from the moment you have done the lifting. This means that in ten years you will still look younger than if you had not undergone this operation.

What are the risks?

Swelling and bruising are potential risks of a brow lift but they disappear completely in a while. Slight tingling along the incision line is another side effect which might last for a couple of months.

How much does it cost?

The price starta from €1550 for an AcciTite brow lift and from €2050 for a classic brow lift.
